A useful first experience

Clear enough to learn. Active enough to enjoy.

The session is adapted to the player rather than forced through a standard checklist. The aim is to build control, movement and confidence while keeping instructions simple enough to remember.

01

Age-appropriate

Exercises and explanations match the player’s current coordination and attention.

02

One clear focus

Each lesson gives the player a manageable priority instead of too many corrections.

03

Progress through play

Skills are connected to movement, targets and decisions so practice stays meaningful.

New players

Start with control and confidence.

Beginners learn how to move, organise the racquet and send the ball with a simple purpose before speed becomes the goal.

Developing juniors

Turn technique into better decisions.

Players with experience work on the highest-value weakness, then apply the change in realistic patterns.

The first session

Assess first.
Build the plan next.
